Cadbury Twirl Chocolate Easter Egg 198g

The sweet treat is available for £2.45 at Tesco with a Clubcard, with the original price slashed from £4.

Shoppers will have to be quick though as this offer will only last until April, 1.

Elsewhere, the chocolate can be found at Ocado for £3.50 or Sainsbury's for £4.

Tesco’s Clubcard holders save a total of £1.05 compared to Ocado and £1.55 compared to Sainsbury’s.

Nestlé Yorkie Milk Chocolate Easter Egg 196g

Choc lovers can bag a Yorkie-shaped bargain by heading off to Tesco, which is offering the Easter Egg for £2.95 with a Clubcard, down from £4.00.

The promotion runs until April, 21, giving shoppers plently of time to get their hands on the sweet treats.

It is also available to £3.50 at Poundland and £4 at Ocado.

Tesco’s Clubcard price offers a 55p saving over Poundland and £1.05 over Ocado.

Nestlé KitKat Chunky Large Easter Egg 190g

Kitkat Chunky fans should head on over to Asda where the Easter Egg is priced at £3.48, .

Shoppers could also purchase the item in a multi-buy offer of any 4 for £11.96, making it £2.99 each.

Elsewhere Poundland is offering the sweet treats for £3.50, whilst Ocado has priced the item at £4.

Lindt Milk Chocolate Easter Egg & Milk Chocolate Gold Bunny 195g

Swiss chocolate at its finest – this Lindt gold bunny egg is pure luxury- perfect for gifting or treating yourself.

Waitrose is charging £10, whilst it will cost you £12 in Morrisons.

Cadbury Mini Eggs Easter Egg 193.5g

These iconic pastel-shelled chocolates are an Easter staple, and this year, they’re cheaper than ever.

Tesco is offering a 193g egg for just £2.45 if you have a Clubcard.

Asda's multi-buy deal means they're just £2.99 each whilst Sainsbury's has the chocolate for £4.

Tesco’s Clubcard price provides the best deal, saving you £1.03 compared to Asda’s multi-buy and £1.55 compared to Sainsbury’s.

Recently, a giant Kinder Easter egg was slashed from £17.50 to £12 at Tesco.

The whopping 220g of milk chocolate, also came with a fun toy inside.

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don't have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Go own brand – if you're not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you'll save by going for the supermarket's own brand bars.

Shop around – if you've spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it's cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you're getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they've been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you've got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
