Chelsea get double boost ahead Tottenham clash

Published on March 29, 2025 at 05:55 AM

Chelsea have been handed a double injury boost ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on April 3.

This is as a result of the return of Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke to Chelsea's first-team training.

The duo have been sidelined for some time as a result of injury, but were pictured in training on Friday.

Palmer missed Chelsea's 1-0 loss to Arsenal with a hamstring problem earlier in March.

The 22-year-old withdraw from England’s World Cup qualifying wins against Albania and Latvia due to the injury.

Madueke, meanwhile, has been sidelined with a thigh injury.

The 23-year-old has missed the Blues' last six matches across all competitions.

However, both England stars were spotted training as usual out on the grass at Cobham, along with Nicolas Jackson, who also looks to be closing in on his return to full fitness for Enzo Maresca's side.

They could have a role to play for Chelsea against Tottenham next Thursday at Stamford Bridge.
