CHELSEA star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had only EIGHT touches of the ball in his side’s loss to Arsenal.
The striker was subbed off after a non-existent display with 64 minutes on the clock.
It was Aubameyang’s first appearance against the Gunners since his controversial exit from the club and he never threatened to score against his old teammates.
He was often late for meetings resulting in him being dropped from squads and stripped of the captain’s armband by his strict manager.
Aubameyang had the chance at revenge but failed to take his opportunity before being replaced by Armando Broja.
The Gabonese ace managed just one shot, five attempted passes (only three of which successful) and despite his talents he did not complete a dribble or win a duel.
Meanwhile, Aubameyang’s replacement Gabriel Jesus put in another good performance since his summer switch from Manchester City.
In comparison, the Brazilian managed 63 touches and won 11 duels.
The day continued to get worse for Aubameyang as he was repeatedly booed by his old fans at Stamford Bridge and they taunted him chanting: “Mikel Arteta, he thinks that youâre sh*t.”
