CHESNEY Hawkes has apologised to fans for cancelling tour dates to do Celebrity Big Brother – and revealed the heartbreaking reason he signed up.

In a video posted to his official accounts, he said: “Hey guys, so if you're watching this I am now in the Big Brother house.
“Been mad trying to fend off all the rumours whilst promoting an album now.”

“I made a pact with a very good friend of mine a few weeks ago that I was gonna take life by the horns and say yes to every crazy opportunity that came my way.
“And this, rather timely, is the first instance of that.
“I guess sometimes the universe just works its magic.”
Meanwhile, Chesney cheekily revealed on launch night that and has no issue getting his kit off.
And he doubled down when he was introduced to and in front of the live audience, looking slightly concerned when they told him he would be shown in the buff if he strips off.
