Chloe Brockett breaks silence on Jack Fincham jail drama in first interview as she reveals real reason she avoided court
QUITTING Towie in disgust over a violent scene set up by producers should have been the start of a fresh chapter for Chloe Brockett.
However, within just weeks, the 24-year-old’s “year of hell”; began as police turned up on the doorstep of her home with Love Island boyfriend, Jack Fincham.
Chloe revealed she ended up in hospital after stress brought on a severe asthma attack this weekChloe Brockett has broken her silence on Jack Fincham dodging prisonJack leaves court today after winning an appeal against his sentence for dangerous dog offences
His brush with the law that almost saw him jailed for six weeks has finally come to an end today – but cost reality star Chloe a major health crisis.
Pushed to her limit, Chloe ended up in hospital after stress brought on a severe asthma attack this week.
Chloe told Flying Eze: “I'm over the moon with the outcome, but I just feel so drained.
“I should be cartwheeling and having a glass of Prosecco, but instead, I'm just sitting at my kitchen table thinking, ‘Oh my God, it's finally all over'.”
In January, hysterical Chloe broke down in court as she screamed out “no”; when Jack was handed a custodial term.
He had been serving a suspended prison sentence for an unrelated driving offence when he admitted to two counts of being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.
Jack’s beloved pet was seized just weeks after moving into his first home with Chloe, having been reported for failing to keep the animal muzzled and on a lead at all times in public places.
Chloe said: “After leaving Towie, I was feeling really happy and looking forward to a fresh start. I was so excited to have moved in with Jack, but within months his dog was seized.
“It was the most traumatic thing that could ever happen to him.
Chloe Brockett reveals she hurled VR headset at Jack Fincham in furious row after breaking silence on split rumours
“When it came to going to court, I supported Jack by going with him but was so upset by the custodial sentence.
“I knew Jack would find that hard as someone who suffers with mental health anyway.
“I knew spending time behind bars wasn’t going to help, especially because what happened was an accident that could happen to so many people.
“Jack takes full responsibility but I found it so unjust and it was just horrible.
“I didn't see that coming at all so obviously I was just so shocked.
“I didn't even get a chance to say goodbye.”;

Thankfully, Jack was granted bail after appealing his sentence and returned home to Chloe two hours later.
However, when it came to Jack’s case at Basildon Crown Court today, Chloe said the previous “horrific experience”; made it too difficult for her to attend.
“It all seemed a bit too intimidating,”; she said.
“I felt like in a way I embarrassed myself by crying in the court and I just didn't want to do that again.
“I felt like a really bad person for not going but because I've been so unwell and was really scared, I just didn’t think I could sit through it.
“But I knew that I would get panicked in there and maybe that could affect my health.
“I know though that I've been there to support him and done enough. I can rest easy at night.”;
Chloe admits her mental and physical health has been badly affected over the last year.
She’s been forced to cancel work commitments and has retreated from the spotlight as she battled repeated bouts of flu, tonsillitis and chest infections.
She said: “I feel like I've got the immune system of a Victorian child, but it’s probably because it's been so stressful this last year, to be honest.
“My asthma has been horrific. I had an asthma attack the other day and I was really scared.
“Asthma can be so dangerous, it can literally kill you quite quickly.
“I knew I was getting worse and my inhaler wasn’t doing a thing so I thought it was best to go to hospital.
“I know it's because I'm run down. I know it's because I'm stressed out.
“Luckily Jack was so helpful. He's really good and he does really look after me in those sort of scenarios. He really does because I'm a panicker.”;
Love Island star Jack Fincham's legal battles
Jack has had numerous run-ins with thelawsince 2021 when he was arrested for drug-driving.
In 2023 he was convicted of the same charge and said it was the wake-up call he needed.
Jack told how he was at rock bottom when he was pulled over by cops for a second time.
Later that year he was handed a 36-month driving ban and given 60 hours' community service.
Jack volunteered in a charity shop as part of his sentence.
However, in February 2024 he was pulled over again and charged with driving after taking cocaine.
Jack was spared jail after speeding his £50,000 car down the hard shoulder of the A2 in Kent.
In January, 2025 he was jailed for six weeks after he admitted being in charge of a dangerously out-of-control dog.
Cane Corso Elvis first attacked runner Robert in Swanley,Kent, in September 2022.
He then mauled an unnamed woman in Grays, Essex, in June 2024 but no harm was done.
Jack was freed on bail while he appeals the sentence.
In the last week, Chloe has been forced to shut down rumours she’s split from Jack in the run-up to the court case.
She insisted they are still “very much in a relationship”; but now admits the sorry saga has had a negative impact on them as a couple.
Chloe added: “I’ve felt this lingering sort of like pressure over me with the stress of what's been going on.
“Of course that affects the relationship. How can it not? No one's going to be happy about going to court and all of these things.
“The worry has been for me that if it didn't go the way that everyone hoped, even down to if they'd said that Jack could walk free, but the dog was to be destroyed, that would have been the worst outcome for Jack.
“I'm forever grateful that didn't happen.”;
Revealing her plans to celebrate today’s verdict, Chloe laughed: “I'm going to have a good night's sleep. That’s what I’m going to do. It’s been a really hard time.”;
