Chronicles of Narnia child star looks unrecognisable as she lands racy new role

SHE rose to fame playing Lucy Pevensie in the Chronicles of Narnia film franchise when she was just eight years old.

These days, Georgie Henley has bagged herself a brand new raunchy role and looks a far cry from the young star who appeared alongside the likes to Tilda Swinton and .

Georgie, who played Lucy Pevensie in the classic , was just 10-years-old when the movie debuted.

She’s now 29 and still working as an actress – and has a brand new theatre venture to get excited about.

Titled The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs, Georgie will be appearing in the new musical from Iman Qureshi’s about community, belonging, and the power of finding your voice.

Georgie will play Ana in the production at the Kiln Theatre this June.

She will star alongside Zak Ghazi-Torbati, Liz Carr and Leah Harvey in the play.

It won't be her first time hitting the theatre stage though.

In 2021, she appeared in a one-woman play called Tarantula at the Southwark Playhouse in last year.

Beyond the Narnia chronicles, Georgie appeared in 4 more films during the 2010s: Perfect Sisters (2014), The Sisterhood of Night (2015), Access All Areas (2017), and a short film called Girl, Sweetvoiced (2019).

She also had a starring role in hit series The Spanish Princess.

She went on to attend the University of , all whilst performing on stage, all in plays like Play It Again, Sam, The Penelopiad, The Trojan Woman, and A Clockwork Orange.

Her reveals she is very good friends with Jonathan Ross’s daughter Honey and she is an LBQT+ ally.

She recently posted a series of snaps while in , and looked stunning as she modelled a red dress.

Speaking about her role in the Narnia films, Georgie previously said: “It’s so funny because it feels like so long ago but then also like no time at all has passed.

“During , I’ve been going through my photos and memory boxes. It’s so insane to look at pictures from that time. I can remember everything. But wow, such a long time ago.”;

She continued to the Talking Beasts: The Narnia Podcast: “In terms of being proud... I feel so lucky to have been Lucy. While we’ve all been in lockdown, the amount of people who have been messaging me about watching Narnia as a comfort movie, or an escape from all of this, it makes me feel so lucky to be that for people.”;
