Cleaning whizz shares two-second 13p trick to get all the pet hair out of your laundry in seconds

IF you've got pets, you'll know how annoying it is to find hairs covering your laundry.

So it's no wonder that a cleaning whizz has been praised after sharing a quick, budget-friendly hack to remove pet hair from your freshly washed clothes in seconds.

You just need to pop a couple of Velcro rollers inside the drum

And your washing will come out squeaky clean – and hair free

Claire took to TikTok to share her top tip, as she said: “I have pets – cats, dogs, guinea pigs – if you have any laundry that might have pet hair on it, throw a couple of Velcro rollers in the machine and this will pick up the hair.”

Once the wash has finished, you can rub the rollers together to remove the hair – or you can pick the strands off – and then they're ready to use again.

But you don't need to spend loads on posh rollers, as Claire added you can pick any cheap ones up from shops like B&M or Savers.

In fact, you can find Velcro rollers for as little as 13p each online.

“Get as many in the machine as you think you need, you can put five or six in if it's very hairy and don't worry about it damaging your fabrics, it won't,” Claire, who also shared cleaning hacks on her Instagram page, said.

“As long as the fabrics you're washing are things like cottons and linens and things like that.

“But don't put it in with very delicates, don't use these with things like silks or woollens, don't use anything with anything that's going to snag.”

However, other than those provisos, the rollers work wonders when they're put in the drum.

“Just pop them in the machine and off you go,” she concluded.

And people in the comments section were quick to praise Claire for sharing the hack, with one writing: “I was 53 years old when……thanks!”

“Can't wait to try this!!”

“Brilliant cos I always get covered in Chihuahua hair,” a third added.

“I have 1 Jack Russell, I'll need a full pack! Thank you,” someone else wrote.

“Amazing! I’ve got two black cats the pet hair in the machine drives me insane,” another praised.
