‘Kinda weird’ – Unusual reason why Cole Palmer was spotted running out of Stamford Bridge emerges

CHELSEA star Cole Palmer left fans stunned when he was spotted running out of Stamford Bridge after Saturday's match with Everton.

The Blues' supporters couldn't believe the sight of Palmer, 22, – wearing a black hoodie with one phone on his ear and another on his hand – in front of the crowd.

A clip showing the bizarre incident made the rounds on social media and fans tried to understand what was going on.

And it turns out the international was in a hurry looking to collect a pair of boots in a petrol station.

That led to a lot of different reaction from the faithful.

One fan tweeted: “Kinda weird that on a huge matchday Cole is thinking about shoes and not 3 points. Still love him but like.”

Another commented: “Wait, what?”

A third wrote: “First case where a footballer legitimately got a call and was in a hurry, and not just avoiding the fans?”

This fan said: “What a lad.”

And that one posted: “Just things.”
