Cops launch urgent CCTV appeal to find man after woman ‘sexually assaulted’ in city street

CCTV has been revealed in a desperate bid to find a man after a woman was “sexually assaulted” in a city street.

The terrifying attack happened on Burbury Street in Lozells, Birmingham, at half midnight on January 16.

Cops have since released footage of a man who they would like to speak to in connection to the incident.

West Midlands Policeis urging anyone who recognises the man to contact the force.

A force spokesperson said: “Recognise this man?

“We’d like to speak to him after a woman was sexually assaulted in the Lozells area ofBirmingham.

“It happened onBurbury Streeton Thursday 16 January, around 12.30pm.

“We’ve been investigating and reviewing CCTV and we would like your help to identify the man pictured.

“Anyone with information should contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101, quoting 20/113958/25.

“Do you have information that may help, but don't want to give your details?

“You can speak 100 per cent anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
