A CORONATION Street legend will DIE next weeks in heartbreaking scenes.
17 years on from making her soap debut, Julie Carp, played by Katy Cavanagh, next week following her tragic battle with cancer.


Julie made a comeback to Weatherfield at the start of the year but confirmed the worrying news that and only months away from dying.
Since then, sEileen and nephew Todd and spent her final months in the company of her beloved family.
Fans will be left in floods of tears next week when Julie finally succumbs to her illness and dies.
In scenes set to be broadcast next week, Julie enjoys one final day of joy before slipping away.
Viewers will see her videoing herself on her phone talking all things love and how important it is to form a loving connection with someone.
In the midst of this, Eileen’s boyfriend George plans a romantic date night for he and Eileen but it backfires immensly.
Eileen is fuming that George has forgotten that he promised to take her and Julie for a day out at the lake.
Instead, Eileen books herself and Julie a cab and they head off to the lake together.
In a tender moment, Julie admits there’s nowhere she’d rather be.
As the pair enjoy their day out, George finds a video that Julie has recorded but is left stunned to see her advising Eileen to separate from him for good.
Unaware that George has discovered the video clip, Julie requests that Eileen get them something from the refreshment van around the side of the lake.
But upon Eileen’s return, she is stunned to see Julie lying on her back with her eyes closed.
Panic-stricken, Eileen searches for a pulse.
Tragically, Julie has died.
As Eileen later struggles with her grief, she finds herself increasingly frustrated with George who is left worried over the state of their relationship.
Will Eileen be able to overcome their rocky patch?
Or will Julie’s death have a bigger impact on Eileen than she anticipated?
