CORONATION Street fans have slammed a ‘creepy' character as a secret romance is almost rumbled.
Tonight, Sarah Platt () walked in on her ex-partner doing the deed.
A new character has recently been introduced on to be the love interest of Todd Grimshaw ().
Theo Silverton () has been having secret liaisons with the undertaker‘s assistant.
This is behind the back of his wife Danielle Silverton () who is grieving the death of her mother.
On tonight's episode, Todd and Theo used Sarah's flat to carry out their secret affair.
Theo was completely undressed apart from his boxer shorts when Sarah entered her home.
As Todd came out of the bedroom and rushed to put his clothes on, he was extremely apologetic.
However, their trouble does not end there after Sarah told Todd that she had a date at the Bistro with detective Kit Green ().
Todd offered to take Sarah out for a friendly drink to thank her the use of her flat, but things soon went awry.
Just as they were together, Danielle walked into the restaurant and offered to get drinks for the pair.
Sarah and Todd have been re-enacting their past relationship as they helped Theo to cover up his affair to his wife.
Danielle opened up to the pair as she explained how Theo has not been affectionate towards her since the death of her mother.
She's completely unaware that Todd is openly gay and has been secretly sleeping with Theo.
Todd and Sarah keep up the pretence that they are a couple, as Todd leans in for a snog after Theo arrives at the bistro.
However, Kit walks in ready for his date with Sarah, just as they share the intimate kiss.
Later, Sarah and Kit bumped into each other on the street and she invited him round.
However, Danielle and Theo drove by in black cab and Sarah suddenly pushed him away, wanting to help Todd keep up the pretence.
However, fans took to – as they slammed Theo as ‘creepy' as Sarah ruins her chances.
One viewer wrote: “OMG, not Sarah ruining her chances with Kit because of Todd and his fancy man.“
A second stated: “Oh Todd you can do soo much better than Theo stop going along with you being his dirty little secret he’s not worth it.”
“The way they’re depicting Theo and Todd’s relationship is tacky. And Theo is creepy,” noted a third.
While a fourth fan raged: “Yuk this Todd & Theo thing is a bit over the top, way too much screen time,” alongside a puking emoji.
And a fifth added: “I hate how we’re being forced on to thinking Todd’s new fella is a hunk. Stop putting him in vests or in just his pants.”
