CORONATION Street star Colson Smith has revealed the key piece of advice he dished out to co-star Jack P Shepherd ahead of his Celebrity Big Brother stint – which he promptly ignored.
The Craig Tinker actor, who has filmed his final scenes for the ITV soap, questioned if his pal “was even listening” when he shared his wise words about starring on the 2024 instalment.

, 26, proved a firm fan favourite during his stint on the reality series.
He arrived on the sofa for Wednesday's episode, where hosts , 58, and , 47, grilled him on the David Platt actor ‘s involvement.
Yorkshire-born Colson told how after his CBB success last year, he had received a message asking who in the cast would be ideal for life in the compound.
He immediately thought of Jack, 37 – who had come to watch him during the live show – and added: “If you're in the industry, it's such an interesting thing to do.”
Former Labour politician Ed then quizzed about his advice towards Jack and asked: “What did you say, did you say be yourself, keep a low profile to begin with, whats the strategy?”
Colson admitted: “I've given him plenty of advice to be fair, the main one was to go in and enjoy yourself because you only get to do a show like this once, so make the most of it.”
Yet talking of the key spot of intel, he added: “I did tell him to make sure he gets a bed, but he was the last into the bedroom last night.
“So I don't think he was even listening.”
SHOW SWIPE
During his CBB entrance chat with hosts , 37, and , 40, ahead of stepping foot in the spy house, lad Jack told how he wasgetting plenty of advice fromColson, who finished third last year.
Yet and brutally told Jack to disregard his tips as he “only finished third”.
The crowd quietened at that same moment and Jack shot back: “That's really good”.
Jack then made his way into the house to greet the other new arrivals.
There was then a positive omen for the soap veteran when his VT played out.
In it, he claimed he'd be one of the first to get the boot, but the audience clearly disagreed and shouted out “No!”
When asked what he's most looking forward to, Jack said: “Probably just every experience that comes with it – the Diary Room, the nominations. I think I’ll like the tasks because that's the big event – when you can all come together.”
And when it comes down to what he'll miss the most, he said: “I don't know because I feel like you still get everything like chocolate and sweets and things like that.
“But probably the little dog, the little dog baby – which is a long-haired Chihuahua.”
The actor will certainly prove popular with his housemates given his penchant for clearing up.
He said: “I have a strength for cleaning – I like to clean. I’ll make cups of tea. I'll wash up. I'm not the best cook but I can cook. And I'm very quiet if I need to be.”
Yet Flying Eze exclusively revealed how after he failed to mention his fiancee in his opening chat.
There was no sign of fashion influencer, 35, in the live crowd either.
The loved-up couple have often shared their life together on social media, yet she was nowhere to be seen as Jack made his entrance into the house.
It's especially bizarre since Jack had only in the show to help with their wedding costs.
A source shared their surprise, telling , “It’s really odd that Hanni wasn't there, especially when you consider how public they've been about their relationship.
“He didn't even mention her either, which raised some questions.
“Fans were definitely expecting to see her there.”
