A SAVVY woman has shared how she totally transformed her council house on a budget.
Lauren Keeble, from the UK, had lived in the three-bed for almost two years, but people were in such awe of her decorating skills that they couldn't believe it was a .


Taking to social media, the hardworking mum said: “. I've been here for almost two years.”
“When I first took the house on, it was an absolute mess and it needed so much work.”
But you wouldn't think it, looking at Lauren's stunning house now.
The hallway from her front door was modern and chic, with white furniture and stylish herringbone flooring.
The front room featured a massive grey corner sofa which she revealed she got from Marketplace.
“Everyone asks where the sofa is from,” she said.
“It's from , most things are Facebook Marketplace in here.”
She had also paneled the walls to add a luxe feel, but Lauren said she'd be them soon.
Next she made her way to the dining room where she had a gorgeous table and bench set made from solid wood and metal.
Lauren added that this was also from Facebook Marketplace and was an ‘ absolute bargain.'
While Lauren thought her kitchen was small, it was also gorgeous and decorated to look like an old country living home with fresh white cupboards and light wooden countertops.
She revealed this again was from Facebook Marketplace and she and her partner had fitted it themselves to save cash.
Moving onto the garden, it was massive and kitted out with a trampoline, egg chairs and astro turf.
Upstairs, Lauren said she still had work to do and planned to transform her bathroom and her bedroom.
The clip posted to her TikTok account @laurenkeeble08 went viral with over 270k views and 9,000 likes.
People were left in awe by her impressive DIY skills and the budget-friendly makeover.
One person wrote: “It looks nice. But I dont understand where you would get the from to renovate the whole house if you are eligible for a council house.”
