Published on March 26, 2025 at 10:22 PM

DANCING on Ice has been shelved by ITV with no plans for a new series, Flying Eze can reveal.

It comes after ratings dwindled for this year's series, which was won by Corrie's Sam Aston last month.

An ITV Spokesperson said: “Following another successful series earlier this year, Dancing On Ice will be rested in 2026 with no current plans for another series.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the cast and crew who have worked on the show since 2006, and over the previous 17 series, for all of their hard work both on and off the ice.”

Last week Flying Eze reported that the show's set is being dismantled and being put into long-term storage fuelling speculation the show is set to be axed.

We exclusively revealed morale behind the scenes is low and many associated with the show are calling the movethe “final nail in the coffin”.
