WBA regular heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will fight South African Kevin Lerena on the undercard of Tyson Fury’s trilogy bout with Derek Chisora.

The 25-year-old Brit knocked out Trevor Bryan back in April to claim a version of the world heavyweight championship.

And now he will defend the belt for the first time on the bill of Fury‘s clash with Chisora – which has been confirmed for December 3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Dubois will take on 30-year-old Lerena – who has a professional record of 28 wins and one defeat.

But he is unbeaten in eight years, with his only loss coming against Johnny Muller way back in 2014.

Meanwhile, Dubois has suffered just one defeat in his professional career since turning over as a teenager in 2017.

He faced Joe Joyce in a blockbuster all-British heavyweight dust-up in November 2020.

But Dubois came up short against the Olympic silver medallist, taking a knee and being counted out in the 10th round.

However, he has bounced back well with three successive victories, culminating in the win over Bryan earlier this year.

Now he will feature as the main undercard bout for Fury’s title defence against Chisora.

The Gypsy King announced the show on social media on Thursday morning with a picture of the fight card.

And he added: “LET’S HAVE IT THEN DEL BOY!!!! SEE YOU DECEMBER 3RD LONDON! @SpursOfficial @DerekWarChisora.”;

Fury has already beaten Chisora twice before.

He claimed a comfortable unanimous decision victory in 2011, before forcing Del Boy to retire on his stool in the 10th round of their rematch three years later.

Since then, Fury has gone on to beat the likes of Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder and Dillian Whyte.

Meanwhile, Chisora has suffered defeats to the likes of Whyte, Oleksandr Usyk and Joseph Parker.

But he did pick up a good victory last time out, edging Kubrat Pulev via split decision.
