‘He completely lost it’ – Darts star Mike De Decker left ‘furious’ at antics of rival after embarrassing blunder

I have never seen the like' - Cameron Menzies collapses to the floor after 'miscount of the century' on MATCH DART

MIKE DE DECKER was reportedly left “furious” with Cameron Menzies following their clash at the European Darts Trophy.

The pair met in the Round of 16 and Menzies edged the tense affair 6-5.

Both players missed match darts with Menzies producing a shocking miscount, going for double four when he needed double six to win.

The world No39 reacted by putting his hands to his head and hitting the deck.

He looked up in the board at astonishment as De Decker allowed himself a wry smile.

However after failing to check out 14 De Decker was no longer smiling, and after the match he was fuming with Menzies' antics according to Vincent van der Voort.

He said on the Darts Draait Door podcast: “Mike completely lost it and couldn’t keep his emotions in check.

“He was furious after the match, and I can understand why.”;

The incident shocked many viewers watching on at home as well as the commentators.

One reacted saying: “What's he doing? What have you done Cameron. It was six double six, you know that.”

Menzies progressed to face Ryan Joyce in the quarter-final but was beaten 6-3.

He said of his mishap against De Decker: “I buggered that. If I spoke the words I want to say then I would be fined.

“I don’t know man. I had a massive brain fart.

“Counting is usually one of my strong points but I screwed that massively.

“Lucky to win but I made an arse of it.”
