DAVID ADELEYE and Jeamie Tshikeva had to be forced apart after an explosive row ahead of their grudge fight.

The British heavyweight rivals meet for the English title on Saturday in Manchester on Joe Joyce's undercard.

And the war of words heated up during a joint interview on talkSPORT.

But the on-air back and forth was nothing compared to what happened after they stepped off set.

Tshikeva – known as TKV – said: “Shut your f***ing mouth. Who the f*** are you pulling up to like that?”

Adeleye, 28, held back, said: “Shut your mouth.”

TKV also said “Bro, shut the f*** up.”

It comes after Adeleye told TKV on radio: “I'm gonna break this guy's skull, I'm telling you. I'm gonna really hurt him. Trust me.”

TKV, 31, later said: “You're just trying to be a bully. Really and truly, you're just pretending.”

Adeleye – once dubbed Britain's next star by Tyson Fury after their sparring sessions – suffered his first defeat in October 2023.

He was knocked out by Fabio Wardley but bounced back with a devastating first-round finish against Solomon Dacres in December.

TKV is meanwhile 8-1 with his sole defeat coming against Igor Adiel Macedo in 2023 – but he has won three since.

They feature on the undercard of Joyce's return bout against Filip Hrgovic, 32, replacing Dillian Whyte, 36, who withdrew due to a finger injury.

Joyce was beaten by Derek Chisora, 41, in July meanwhile Hrgovic is coming off a loss to Daniel Dubois, 27, last June.
