This past weekend, Netflix releasesd its new fantasy show Shadow and Bone for viewers to binge. Newly converted fans of the show may not know that the show is based on Leigh Bardugo’s books, which are all now on sale on Amazon.
The Shadow and Bone trilogy comprises three books called Shadow and Bone, Siege and Storm, and Ruin and Rising. The Netflix show covers the first book but also interweaves Bardugo’s duology called Six of Crows. These two books called Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom follows the Ketterdam crew of Kaz, Inej, Jesper, Nina, and others who are also in season one of Shadow and Bone. Bardugo has also written another duology comprised of King of Scars and Rule of Wolves, which follows Zoya and multiple other characters from the show. All of these books combined make up what is known as the Grishaverse.
