DOMINO'S has axed their beloved but “controversial” Easter item from their menus – but has teased its return.
The highly anticipated return of Domino's Cookies made with Creme Egg saw customers scramble for the sweet treats.


However fans will be disappointed, because after just weeks on the menu they have officially been removed.
Before the official Easter celebrations even start to begin – the controversial product has sold out – and you won't be able to buy them anymore.
But not everyone was happy about the collaboration between Domino's and and it was branded “disgusting” by Lord Bethell of Romford.
He said: “This is disgusting. A whole Cadbury cream egg in a Domino's Cookie.
“These are serious corporate food companies. What are they thinking?
“The executive team, the board and the shareholders should be ashamed of themselves.”
A spokesperson for said that their customers tend to share their cookies and added that they are no worse than many other high street treats.
They said: “These special edition cookies bring together two much loved, iconic brands and are designed to be a delicious pre-Easter treat which can be shared.
“At just over 370 calories per cookie, they are in line with the content of many other treats available on the high street such as frappes and croissants.”
Louise Pilkington, Director of Innovation at Domino's said: “This
year, we sold over 1 million cookies, which were eaten up in a matter of just 30 days.
“What a cracking result. It's incredible to see our customers' passion for these limited-edition treats hasn't dimmed since last year.”;
While the limited-edition cookies are currently no longer available, fans are encouraged to stay tuned for another exciting spin on the pizza company’s beloved cookies,
Which is anticipated to hit their menu later this year.
Meanwhile, th pizza giant has also introduced smaller 600-calorie pizzas and wraps for under 450 calories.
It has also launched vegan dishes, adding: “We are serious about our role in helping customers manage their nutritional intake.
“And maintain a balanced diet with less sugar, fat and salt, as well as fewer calories.”;
Meanwhile, much loved baker Greggs is ready to take on Domino’s and the pizza kings with a massive menu shake-up.
The high-street bakery giantwhich hit shops nationwide last month.
The pizza is loaded with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, sweetcorn, mixed peppers, and red onion. This is then on a soft, focaccia-style base.
The price of the pizza, which is 573 calories per slice, starts from £2.40.
