Dr. Fauci Shut Down Joe Rogan’s Claims That “Young” And “Healthy” People Don’t Need To Get Vaccinated

Well I guess we know who it was that gave Dave Chappelle COVID-19 now. Last week on his #1 rated podcast The Joe Rogan Experience, Joe Rogan summoned all the medical knowledge he’s accumulated over the years from reading the pamphlets in STD clinic waiting rooms, to advise “healthy” young people not to get the coronavirus vaccine. All to which, America’s doctor, Dr. Anthony Facui cries foul!

According to The Hill, on the podcast, Joe explained that since his kids got COVID-19 and survived, if you’re young, “like 21,” “healthy,” “exercising all the time” and “eating well,” then you don’t have to worry about it. Which pretty much excludes the entire listening audience of The Joe Rogan Experience. Dr. Fauci on the other hand told NBC’s Today that Joe is full of shit. Only, he said it in a nice professional way.

Anthony Fauci, the nation’s leading infectious diseases expert, early Wednesday shot down recent comments from Joe Rogan after the popular podcast host suggested young, health Americans do not need to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Speaking to NBC’s “Today,” Fauci called Rogan’s comments “incorrect.”

“You’re talking about yourself in a vacuum,” Fauci said of the podcast host. “You’re worried about yourself getting infected and the likelihood that you’re not going to get any symptoms. But you can get infected, and will get infected, if you put yourself at risk.”

Here’s Joe explaining why the mean old government needs to stop strapping infants down the moment they slide out of a lady and immediately injecting them with mystery fluids. At least that’s what it sounds like he’s worried about.

That’s where Fauci hit him with The Greater Good argument. Because despite all the noise and vitriol thrown his way, this man is still out here trying to save us from ourselves.

Fauci also said there are still cases of asymptomatic people infected with the coronavirus “inadvertently and innocently” spreading the virus.

“So if you want to only worry about yourself and not society, then that’s OK,” Fauci said. “But if you’re saying to yourself, even if I get infected, I could do damage to somebody else even if I have no symptoms at all, and that’s the reason why you’ve got to be careful and get vaccinated.”

When asked directly if young, healthy people should get vaccinated, Fauci replied: “Absolutely.”

Here’s Dr. Fauci giving you well-considered science-based medical advice while silently judging anyone who puts themselves and others at risk by taking advice from a man who looks like he skipped a couple of important evolutionary steps somewhere between Homo erectus and Homo sapien.
