Massive 7.7 magnitude earthquake rocks Myanmar with tremors felt in Thailand, India and China

A DEVASTATING 7.7 magnitude earthquake has struck Myanmar and left severe damage to homes.

The terrifying tremors were also felt in Thailand, India and China.

The German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said the quake had a depth of 10km with the epicentre near the city of Mandalay.

Witnesses in Bangkok said locals were left running out onto the streets in panic as the tremors first hit.
