RHS GARDEN BRIDGEWATER, NEAR MANCHESTER:Kids can hunt for giant eggs containing clues, crack the code and be rewarded with chocolate.

There is also storytelling, planting, craft workshops and the Guess How Much I Love You trail — inspired by the popular children’s book — which includes educational activities.

ROARR!, NORFOLK:The world’s most famous bunny, Peter Rabbit, is at ROARR!

He’ll be appearing for meet-and-greets at the dinosaur-themed adventure park in Lenwade from April 19-21.

All of next week, you can follow the Dippy’s Chocolate Factory maze for sweet treats, win prizes including free tickets on an egg hunt, and track down golden tickets for an Easter surprise.

TOOTBUS, LONDON:The open-top bus tour company is running Easter-themed sightseeing trips, and handing out masks, activity books and chocolates.

See all of the main attractions of the capital including the London Eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.

You can add a ticket to board the Eye, take a Thames river cruise or visit Madame Tussauds wax museum.

WHITEMILLS AQUA PARK, KENT:A giant floating obstacle course has just reopened on the purpose-built lakes at Whitemills Aqua Park in Sandwich.

You can also try wakeboarding, with a cable system designed for beginners or world-class riders.

There’s an area for open-water swimming, a sauna and a restaurant with kids’ menu.

BOLTON ABBEY, NORTH YORKS: Wind your way through Strid Wood, in the beautiful Dales, to find giant bunnies.

Follow the free guide to the accessible trail and enter the “design a bunny”; competition to win a 2026 abbey season ticket.

Kids will love paddling or fishing in the River Wharfe, navigating the stepping stones and building sandcastles.

NATIONAL TRUST PROPERTIES, ACROSS THE UK:Grab your baskets — the National Trust has hidden 425,000 chocolate eggs this Easter.

And to find one of them, you’ll have to go rummaging at one of their 190 egg-hunt trails at properties in England, Wales and Northern Ireland from now until April 22.

Explore mazes, meadows, woods and parks at country houses including Stourhead in Wiltshire and Dyffryn Gardens in South Wales, which are giving out bunny ears and chocolate eggs. There are also dress-up stations and egg runs.

BUTLIN’S, ACROSS ENGLAND: Enjoy live shows, including Peppa Pig’s Dance Party in the Sky Pavilion, which has an egg hunt, and go prehistoric at Dino Expo.

Day visitors to Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness also have access to Splash Waterworld, Butlin’s own water park complete with slides and rides.

Those with younger kids will be able to take advantage of Bognor Regis’s new £1.8million soft play area.

EDEN PROJECT, CORNWALL:There are giant eggs galore in the outdoor gardens.

Find six to get a chocolate reward.

PAULTONS PARK, NEW FOREST:Peppa Pig’s home is pulling out all the stops for Easter.

Eight characters, including Peppa herself and the New Forest National Park’s bunnies Bobtail and Betty, are turning out for meet-and-greets.

There are more than 70 rides and attractions, water-splash parks and adventure playgrounds.

SOUTH DEVON RAILWAY, DEVON:Hop on a steam train and find eggs hidden at stations as you ride through the countryside.

South Devon Railway is running the train trail from Buckfastleigh to Staverton and Totnes until April 21 — and riders get a chance to win a £50 gift voucher.

They are also holding a gala over the Easter weekend, showcasing locomotives and classic cars.

Step inside workshops and an original signal box.

BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH, LANCS:Fans of white-knuckle rides can get their adrenaline rush in the dark next weekend.

The Pleasure Beach is holding its first Twilight Thrills session of 2025, staying open until 10pm.

Drop from 235ft on hypercoaster The Big One, and experience the G-force of an F1 driver on double-launch ride ICON.

Younger kids can meet Nickelodeon stars and enjoy family attractions including Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic, the movie pair’s first theme-park ride.

WINDSOR CASTLE AND DUCK TOURS, BERKS:Have yourself a right royal time at the castle.

A Duck Tour, by bus and boat, will take you around the town to enjoy the most fantastic views of the mighty fortress.

Riders will listen to fun commentary along with historical facts as they travel by road through the heart of Windsor, before hitting the Thames and sailing to the banks of the 11th-century castle.

DALKEITH COUNTRY PARK, SCOTLAND:There are Easter events for all the family to enjoy at Scotland’s historic houses, castles and parks.

But the most exciting, perhaps, is the one at Dalkeith Country Park near Edinburgh, where there will be a festival taking place from April 18-21.

Activities for kids include everything from the thrilling Zorbing cannonball run to face-painting, scavenger hunts and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

The park also has a Go Ape with eight ziplines and thrillseeking tree-top trails.

PUPPETRY FESTIVAL, NEWCASTLE: Giant colourful puppets will roam the streets of Newcastle on Easter Saturday.

An elephant, deer, dragon and Jabberwocky — the Lewis Carroll children’s book character — will take over the gardens of the Great North Museum for the opening of the city’s Puppetry Festival.

Don’t miss the Toon Underground parade, either, with live music and hundreds of residents and artists at Exhibition Park.

WALBY FARM PARK, CUMBRIA: There’s a whole load of chocolate to get excited about here.

The Chocky Wocky Factory invites kids to join in two interactive shows and win golden tickets to swap for lollies they can decorate.

There’s also a giant egg trail until April 20 on the 300-acre farm near Carlisle.
