EFCC arrests 15 suspected internet fraudsters in Lagos sting operation

Operatives from the Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have apprehended 15 individuals suspected of engaging in internet fraud.

The arrests were made on Friday, April 25, 2025, during a coordinated sting operation at Maple and Jand Court, located within Royal Pine Estate on Orchid Road, Lekki.

The operation followed actionable intelligence linking the suspects to alleged cybercrime activities.

During the raid, EFCC agents recovered several items including mobile phones, laptops, and vehicles believed to be connected to the suspected fraudulent operations.

According to the anti-graft agency, the suspects will face prosecution upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
