SKY SPORTS were branded a “shambles” after Emma Raducanu’s opening matchin Madrid vanished off the telly.
The Brit was in action against Dutch world No.73 Suzan Lamens on Wednesday at the Madrid Open.


But several viewers complained during the clash, which later won 7-6 6-4 in her first match on clay this season.
Fans were put out after the match disappeared off screen in a shock technical glitch.
The Sky coverage had suddenly switched over to a men’s singles match instead.
The stream turned over to in action against Pablo Carreno Busta.
And fans tookto social mediato express their frustration.
One said: “‘Please sort your tennis coverage @SkySportsTennis.
While another said: “Shambles from Sky over Raducanu coverage.
A third quizzed: “Why are we suddenly on a men’s match?”
A fourth wrote: “This has been down for about 10 minutes now.”
The broadcaster appeared to eventually resolve the problem as booked her spot in the second round.
Raducanu’s win over Lamens marked her first match since herimpressive run to the Miami Open quarter-finalslast month.
