Off-screen, the star has moved into the world of fitness and personal training.

He is the owner of BoxedOff, a company that provides plant-based supplements and nutrition to help customers achieve their fitness goals.

Anthony spent two years working on the project and previously told Flying Eze: “Setting the company up started as a way of giving myself some security while working in an industry that doesn't have any.

“Forgive the pun, but it was done to supplement my acting career. I decided to leave Emmerdale to throw myself into the company.

“It wasn't a decision I made lightly, but I'm so glad I did. It's really paid off. It has done far better than I could have ever imagined and it's something I'm really proud of.

“There's a famous saying, isn't there, that if you enjoy your work then it'll never feel like a day's work in your life.

“I'm really fortunate I've got a few industries where I feel most passionate. Acting is my ultimate passion and what I want to do above all else.

“Now I've got the option to pick and choose acting jobs when they come around. I'm definitely not finished with acting.”

Meanwhile, Anthony spent years learning his craft as a personal trainer.

He now coaches a small client list to offer online support, alongside his business.

His fitness page's Instagram bio reads: “Helping people lose weight, tone up or get lean whilst eating the foods they love.”

Recently, Emmerdale fans got a worrying update about Anthony's beloved character Pete.

His brother Ross (Michael Parr) – newly appointed bodyguard at Home Farm – became increasingly suspicious of Joe Tate (Ned Porteous).

He later followed Joe to a secret meeting with Dr. Crowley (James Hillier), in a lay-by.

However, the interruption spooked Crowley, who says he won't proceed with covertly getting Joe a kidney – until Ross is gone.

Shortly after, Ross is stunned to receive a phone call saying Pete has been assaulted.

With his brother in hospital, Ross' departure meant Joe and Crowley were free to move forward with their scheme.

Emmerdale continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
