EPEX is set to hold their own concert in China!
On April 28, the group’s agency C9 Entertainment announced that EPEX will hold their 2025 concert “YOUTH DEFICIENCY”; at the MAAQUU X CH8 livehouse in Fuzhou, China on May 31.
This will be the first concert by a Korean idol group in China since the 2016 Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) crisis. While other international idol and hip hop groups have performed in China, it will be the first time in nine years that a full South Korean idol group has performed there.
The agency shared, “EPEX made continuous efforts to connect with Chinese fans in various ways since their debut.”; They added, “The group collaborated on photo shoots and interviews with Chinese magazines, and in January of this year, they held fan signing events in Shanghai and Qingdao, where they received an overwhelmingly positive response.”;
EPEX has been touring Asia with their “YOUTH DEFICIENCY”; concert series since December, starting in Seoul. Next month, the group will perform in Macau on May 3, Taipei on May 24, and Fuzhou on May 31.
