EPL: Arteta gives Arsenal injury updates ahead of Fulham clash

Published on March 31, 2025 at 11:26 AM

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed that Riccardo Calafiori faces several weeks out.

Calafiori picked up a knee injury while playing for Italy during the international break.

However, Arteta will have Jurrien Timber available for the Premier League clash against Fulham on Tuesday.

Timber has been struggling with illness over the past week.

“Riccardo unfortunately picked up an injury with the national team,” Arteta said.

“With the way it happened, it could have been much worse. Hopefully, it's going to be a matter of weeks, but we have to see.

“Jurrien was ill for a long period, quite badly, but he has felt much better in the last few days, so he is available.”
