Former Newcastle United striker, Alan Shearer, has described the club's frontman, Rasmus Hojlund as a damaged player.
According to him, the striker has lost his confidence and is not ready to lead the line at Old Trafford.
The Danish forward, who joined the Red Devils last summer, is going through a rough patch this season with just three goals in the Premier League so far.
The players performance was very poor again when they faced Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, with the Red Devils losing 1-0.
Following the game, football pundit Shearer tagged him as a damaged player.
He said via Daily Mail, “I'm looking at a damaged player in Hojlund. I think he wasn't ready and isn't ready to lead the line at a club like Manchester United.”
Hojlund joined Manchester United in 2023 under Erik ten Hag and was promising in his initial days.
However, he has found himself fallen off at Old Trafford. In his first season, he scored 10 goals in 30 PL appearances.
