EPL: Liverpool crowned champions, equal Man Utd record

Published on April 27, 2025 at 06:48 PM

Liverpool have been crowned Premier League champions on Sunday.

The Reds also equalled Manchester United’s record of 20 top-flight titles.

This follows their 5-1 win against Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

Liverpool only needed a point against Tottenham on Sunday to clinch their 20th title.

However, they won the league in style by thrashing Spurs.

Goals from Luis Díaz, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, and Mohamed Salah gave the hosts the victory.

Dominic Solanke scored a goal for the visitors.

The result leaves Liverpool with 82 points from 34 games, with four more matches remaining to conclude the season.
