EPL: Liverpool now four wins away from winning title after Arsenal stumble

Published on April 05, 2025 at 02:14 PM

Liverpool are now four wins away from being crowned Premier League champions.

This follows Arsenal's 1-1 draw with Everton in Saturday's early kick-off.

Leandro Trossard saw his first-half strike cancelled out by Illiman Ndiaye's penalty after the break.

The result leaves the Gunners with 62 points, 11 less than Liverpool who are at away to Fulham on Sunday, with seven fixtures left.

Arne Slot's men could now be confirmed title winners when they play Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

This would means that the Reds would receive a guard of honour from both Chelsea and Arsenal in their next games after Spurs.

Liverpool last won the title in 2020 during the COVID pandemic.
