EPL: McTominay speaks on bullying Alejandro Garnacho at Man United

Published on December 23, 2022 at 01:24 AM

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has reacted to claims of bullying at the club.

This was after the midfielder was shown on camera pinching young winger Alejandro Garnacho’s hat and kicking it away during training.

The Red Devils beat Championship leaders Burnley in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

United play Nottingham Forest to Old Trafford, on December 27 but McTominay has had to face some unwelcome questions ahead of the game.

He told The Athletic: “I had a lot of people saying that was bullying. That was just a bit of a joke!”;

“He needs to keep his feet on the ground and keep working hard and he can be one hell of a footballer,”; said McTominay added while speaking about the Argentine winger.
