EPL: Morrison names player Man Utd missed during 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa

Former Premier League star, Clinton Morrison, has named midfielder Bruno Fernandes as the player Manchester United misses during their Premier League 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.

Fernandes was not available for the game at Villa Park because he has already picked up five yellow cards this season.

Goals from Leon Bailey, Lucas Digne and Jacob Ramsey gave Aston Villa the victory over Man United.

“Manchester United miss Bruno Fernandes,” Morrison told BBC Radio 5 Live. “They miss that creative spark.

“They miss that someone who plays that incisive pass, and that’s why they have struggled in that final third.”;

He added, “Aston Villa have been excellent and they thoroughly deserve this. Don’t think this is a fluke scoreline.

“Villa have deserved this. Manchester United’s goal was a very fluky goal, but other than that, Villa have been excellent and could probably have scored more goals.

“Unai Emery tactically got it spot on.”
