EPL: Rashford is not my player – Man Utd manager, Amorim

Published on March 31, 2025 at 02:54 PM

Manchester United boss, Ruben Amorim has insisted that Marcus Rashford is not his player at the moment.

Amorim spoke at his pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester United's Premier League clash with Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.

Recall that Rashford fell out of favour with Amorim at Man United.

The England international eventually left Man United to join Premier League side Aston Villa on loan for the remainder of the season.

Rashford has been doing well at Aston Villa so far, scoring a brace in their FA Cup 3-0 win against Preston on Sunday.

Asked about Rashford ahead of Man United's clash with Nottingham Forest, Amorim said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “I am focused on my team and my players. Rashford is not my player at the moment.

“But of course I am happy when our players are playing well on loan.”

Amorim also provided the latest injury update on Ayden Heaven.

“Ayden Heaven’s injury is not so serious. He’s not ready yet now but he will play again this season, for sure,”; he said.
