EPL table: Arsenal close gap to Liverpool with 2-1 win over Fulham

Published on April 01, 2025 at 09:19 PM

Arsenal continued their fine form in the Premier League with a 2-1 victory over Fulham on Tuesday night.

There was an exciting atmosphere inside the Emirates Stadium, although Bukayo Saka, despite being named in the starting XI, actually began the match on the bench.

Saka was fit and available again following hamstring surgery.

The Gunners took the lead in the first half through Mikel Merino.

However, Mikel Arteta's men struggled to add to that goal, until Saka came off the bench and scored with six minutes remaining.

Rodrigo Muniz pulled one back for Fulham late in the game.

Arsenal now have 61 points, nine fewer than Liverpool, who host Everton on Wednesday night.
