FA Cup final: Roy Keane, Ian Wright make predictions

Published on April 28, 2025 at 06:21 AM

Football pundits, Roy Keane and Ian Wright have predicted that Crystal Palace will have to be at their very best to beat Manchester City in the FA Cup final.

Crystal Palace qualified for the FA Cup final after beating Aston Villa 3-0 some few days ago.

Man City, on the other hand, defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 on Sunday.

Both teams will now meet in the FA Cup final on May 17 at Wembley Stadium.

“You still have to play really well to beat City,” Keane told ITV.

“For all their troubles this season, Palace will have to be at their very best to beat them.”

On his part, Wright added, “The problem you have playing against City which they saw [in the Premier League] is that even when you are two-nil up, City will still come at you.

“It’s going to come down to Palace to know that City are going to have a lot of possession but punishing them when they have opportunities.

“Like Roy said, they are a very good side and if you don’t do those things, they will put you away.”
