Hundreds of users have reported that they cannot comment or read comments on the popular apps.
While the feed, profiles and stories loaded for many, it seemed like the comments were the biggest problem on Instagram.
Nearly 500 reports of problems on Insta have been reported at the time of writing.
Some users found they encountered other technical problems while using the meta-owned apps.
