We rented our home to family on Airbnb… but 500 feral teens TRASHED it after open-invite to party was posted on Snapchat

AN AIRBNB has been left trashed after hundreds of feral teens crammed in for a wild party.

The booking was supposed to be for a family of five, but 500 revellers arrived after an open-invite to the party was posted on .

Benjamin Holt received a booking for what he thought was a family of five for his home in East Brisbane, .

But the booking profile was a fake and an open-invite to the house party was posted on Snapchat.

Around 500 responded to the invite and piled into the house for the booze-filled party.

Holt received a threatening message on his profile from one of the teens at the party.

The teen wrote: “Hey, why the hell would you get the cops and involved man.”

“Idc (I don't care) if you press charges on me, I should've thrashed the house even more. And btw (by the way) I ain't paying for anything which was damaged.

“Sent from my burner btw. If u wanna press charges go for it dude. But that would cost you too much ahaha.”

were then called to shutdown the out-of-control party – but the damage had already been done.

After the cops arrived hundreds of teenagers fled from the house.

Others were spotted causing chaos as they clashed with officers.

Queensland Police confirmed the “large disturbance”;.

A police statement said: “Shortly after 7.45pm officers dispersed a large group of people from a Geelong Street address.”

Shocking footage of the aftermath showed smashed glass and empty alcohol cans, a broken stair railing, and furniture and a vacuum among items thrown in the .

It's too early to estimate the total cost of the damages but it is thought to be thousands of dollars.

But the Airbnb owner responded to the situation surprisingly calmly.

Holt said“the hardest part”; of the ordeal was telling families who had booked a holiday at his Airbnb that they could no longer stay.

He said: “We had someone who was booked in yesterday for a five-night stay: two adults and two kids.

“I had to call them the night before at 10.30pm and tell them they won’t be able to stay.

“That’s the hardest part for me, the cancelled bookings, the people who have their ruined.”;

But Holt said he wants those responsible to own up and help pay for the repairs.

The owner added he thought they were “flushed with cash”; as he had heard the event was a “paid party”; – with an entry fee.
