FANS have been left laughing at Liverpool star Darwin Nunez as he misfired during a melee against Manchester City.
A fight broke out among the two team’s players after Rodri and Fabinho clashed in the middle of the pitch.
The two players were both cautioned for their roles in the scuffle, but fans were more interested in Nunez’s actions.
The Uruguayan striker attempted a push on midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, but completely missed the German.
This left fans laughing at the Liverpool striker, as one said: “Nunez can’t even shove on target”.
A second wrote: “Nunez even misses the push on Gundo”.
A third commented: “Nunez wouldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat. Lol”.
A fourth added: “Can we deep Darwin Nunez even missed his push”.
The incident summed up the 23-year-old how his night went against Man City.
The striker was off target with three of his four shots at goal, while his fourth was blocked.

The misses Nunez produced led to Liverpool’s eventual exit from the Carabao Cup as they lost the tie to City 3-2.
Citizens star Erling Haaland was on song, as it only took him ten minutes to open the scoring.
Despite his recent struggles, Nunez has had a fairly decent start to his career at Anfield.
The former Benfica man has scored nine goals in his 19 appearances in all competitions.
