The Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command has arrested three suspects in connection with the recent attack on a Boys Brigade camping site in Zhayidna Village, Orozo, which led to the tragic death of a young camper, Johnson John.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday.

She revealed that the breakthrough came following a digital tracking operation and credible intelligence analysis on the mobile phones linked to the deceased.

According to Adeh, the Divisional Police Officer in Karshi, CSP Mbang Usang, led the successful operation that resulted in the arrest of three suspects: Stanley Ukweze, Dauda Yohana, and Gemu Adamu — all residents of Wasa Village, Karshi.

“At the point of arrest, three mobile phones were recovered from the suspects, two of which have been identified as belonging to the late Johnson John,”; Adeh stated.

She stated that the suspects are currently in custody and will be charged to court upon conclusion of the ongoing investigation.
