I spotted fabric softener for 37p down from a fiver so filled my trolley up – but I’m slammed for clearing the shelves

A SHOPPER has been slammed for filling her trolley with a bargain buy.

Jenni Morley took to social media to show others the money-saving deal she found in Morrisons, but not everyone could be happy for her.

Shoppers are racing to get a bargain deal in Morrisons
One woman filled her trolley with the bargain offer

Whilst in the supermarket, she saw they had bottles of the Lenor 55 washes fabric softener and decided to see if they were on offer.

She revealed that she saw a post online saying they were scanning for less than the price on the shelf and decided to give it a go for herself.

“It stated £5 on the shelf, but after seeing someone’s post regarding the 55 washes scanning at 37p, I tried it at self scan and it did so I went and grabbed more,” explained Jenni.

She ended up filling her trolley with the laundry essential in the fragrance Dreamy Jasmine.

From looking at the image she shared on Facebook, the bargain hunter grabbed at least 10 bottles.

Not only did she hit the jackpot with her money-saving find, but one Morrisons worker helped her get the bargain.

She revealed that some bottles, which said 53 washes instead of 55, were scanning at full price, but the employee changed this to 37p for her.

“Morrisons: Scanned at 37p although shelf said £5 I did accidentally scan 4 of the 53 washes but the woman altered it as I was gonna put them back,” she captioned the post.

Jenni was clearly delighted with her find and wanted to help others save money, too.

She posted to the Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, which boasts over 2.6 million members.

Plenty of people were happy for Jenni, but there were some who couldn't help but think she took too much.

One person wrote: “I never find bargains like this. Well done.”

Another commented: “I never find deals like this. EVER.”

“Why so much? Save some for other folk,” penned a third.

You'll need to work out the cost compared to how much you spend on delivery without one to see if it's worthwhile.

Nice haul,”; claimed a fifth.

Someone else added: “Get them in your basket – it’s something your always gonna use, we’re all just jealous.”
