Five arrested for alleged armed robbery in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of five individuals suspected of involvement in armed robbery.

The arrests were made on Thursday, and the suspects are accused of using offensive weapons, including daggers, knives, and face masks, to rob people of their belongings.

SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, the Police Command's spokesperson, confirmed the arrests in a statement.

He stated that offensive weapons and face masks were recovered from the suspects.

The identities of the arrested suspects were revealed as Muhammad Ali, 60 years old, Kalifa Muhammed, 20 years old, Nuhu Muhammed, 22 years old, Jamilu Muhammad, 22 years old, and Abdullahi Isa, 18 years old. All the suspects are from Mubi North Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

The Police command has promised to provide more details in due course.
