Nigeria's Flamingos sealed a place in the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup after holding Algeria to a 0-0 draw in Blida.

Bankole Olowookere's side won the final qualifying round contest 4-0 on aggregate.

The Flamingos dominated the second leg tie but were let down by their poor finishing.

The wintry conditions in Blida also made things difficult for the girls.

Algeria came close to winning the game one minute from time but were denied by the woodwork.

The Flamingos were eliminated by the United States of America at the quarter-final stage of the last edition of the competition.

This year’s edition of the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup will kick off on October 17 in Morocco.
