Horror moment huge flammable tanker OVERTURNS drenching cars in flaming liquid – that then flows towards trapped traffic

THIS is the horror moment a huge flammable tanker overturned and crashed on a highway – drenching cars in a highly-flammable liquid.

The loaded truck, understood to be carrying gallons of ethanol, was moving on a highway in Santa Catarina, , when it shockingly flipped near the traffic.

CCTV Footage shows the truck approaching a corner on the highway when it topples onto its sides.

The truck immediately catches fire, and a huge amount of highly flammable ethanol is spilled on the road before making its way to the other cars.

In just a matter of seconds, dozens of cars stuck in traffic near the collision area are set alight.

They can be seen burning a grey smoke, with rubble along the roads.

pictures of the aftermath of the accident showed charred vehicles – some still burning – lined up on one side of the highway.

In total, 22 cars and three trucks were affected, and five people were injured.

The truck driver and his wife were in the vehicle and suffered burns to their arms and legs.

Firefighters from several cities arrived to control the fire, and a vehicle with explosives was removed from the area.

The highway was forced to close both ways after the disaster.

This terrifying incident has not been the only shocking track crash to be caught on camera.

Chilling footage showed a before rockfall slammed into a second truck.

Video filmed by a truck's dashcam showed the heart-stopping moment a massive rock broke away from the mountain, fell, and landed on the HGV ahead of it.

The boulder, which was about the size of a lorry itself, completely crushed the truck.

Moments later, another rock fell on top of the truck that was recording – it too was destroyed.

Another truck carrying loads of fireworks for the New Year's celebration crashed in the middle of the highway.
