LIVERPOOL have been shockingly put up for sale by owners Fenway Sports Group.

David Ornestein has revealed that the sale deck has been produced for interested parties including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

Meanwhile, Southampton have officially confirmed the sacking of Austrian manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

The Saints were booed off the field following their woeful 4-1 defeat to Newcastle.

And Hasenhuttl ultimately paid the price which means that first-team lead coach Ruben Selles has been announced as interim gaffer.
