Former President, Buhari receives APC governors at Kaduna residence

Former President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Monday received a delegation of All Progressives Congress (APC) governors at his residence in Kaduna.

The visit, led by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who chairs the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF), was to offer Sallah greetings and congratulate Buhari on the completion of Ramadan fasting.

Speaking to journalists after the visit, Uzodimma described the meeting as a gesture of respect and appreciation.

“This visit is symbolic and deeply rooted in respect, loyalty, and continued appreciation for the statesmanship, leadership, and legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari,”; he said.

“As a party, we remain united and committed to the ideals of good governance which he championed during his tenure.”;

Other governors present included Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Uba Sani (Kaduna), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), and Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo).

Also in attendance were Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Usman Ododo (Kogi), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), and Hyacinth Alia (Benue).
