THERE’S nothing more annoying than spending an hour at the salon only to hate your nails.

It’s bound to have happened to all of us at least once before, and unfortunately, a beauty enthusiast from the US has now fallen victim to the curse and was left with nails that look just like Drumstick Squashies.

Kayla, a stylist and model from Chicago, explained that she wanted a glamorous French tip manicure, but was left horrified when her nails were finished.

Shocked at her bright pink, almond-shaped manicure, the fashion fan took to social media to share her nail blunder, leaving many in hysterics.

Alongside the short clip, where Kayla gave her followers a close-up look at her nails, she wrote: “I asked for French tips.”;

But unlike the sleek set she had in mind, Kayla was left with an incredibly bright pink base, with very thick white tips.

As a result, alongside crying emojis she sobbed: “This looks like candy corn.”;

Not only was the colour and style not what Kayla had in mind, but the base of some of the nails were visibly messy too.

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @tqg_m2, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and racked up three million views.

The nail fail has also amassed 336,100 likes, 12,100 comments and a jaw-dropping 111,1000 shares.

Social media users were stunned by the tragic set of acrylics and many eagerly flocked to the comments to express this.

Not only were people convinced her nails resembled Squashies, but others were quick to make jokes about the full set.

As well as this, many were floored to hear she did in fact pay for the awful manicure.
