Gardeners rush to B&Q to snap up £15 bargain that will transform your home into a Mediterranean paradise

NOW that the sunny weather has officially arrived, many gardeners are looking to spend their weekends working on their outdoor spaces.

From de-weeding their patios to buying new plants or simply cutting the grass, Brits are looking to add some extra personality to their gardens.

And B&Q is helping people do this whilst still keeping costs low.

Taking to TikTok, the hardware store recently shared a video on their social media, and gardening fans are loving it.

They are selling olive trees for £15, which will transform your home into a Mediterranean paradise.

Sharing a video of their latest plants that have just landed in store, they captioned it: “Score a bargain with this stunning £15 olive tree!

“Perfect for adding a touch of greenery to your space without breaking the bank.

“Don’t miss out on this incredible special buy! But hurry... when they’re gone, they’re gone.”;

The olive tree is “versatile”; and can be placed in gardens, patios, or balconies.

B&Q describes the plant as having silvery-green leaves that will add a “Mediterranean touch to any outdoor space.”;

Ideal for pots or borders, the olive tree is drought-tolerant and low maintenance, thriving in well-drained soil and full sun.

And to top it off, the plant isn’t just suitable for decorative purposes but also “edible purposes.”;

The video shared on the B&Q account has gained over 109,000 TikTok views and 916 likes.

Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

One wrote: “Just got three.”;

A second added: “On my way.”;

Easter 2025 opening hours

Easter in 2025 falls onSunday, 20 April, bringing with it a long weekend for many across the UK.

The Easter celebrations include Good Friday on 18 April and Easter Monday on 21 April, giving residents in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland a four-day break to enjoy.

In England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, government regulations require shops larger than 280 square metres to remain closed on Easter Sunday.

Scotland, however, is exempt from this law, though some businesses choose to close voluntarily.

For those planning DIY projects over the Easter weekend,B&Q storeswill follow their usual opening hours onGood FridayandEaster Monday, with most branches open from7am to 8pm.

However, all B&Q stores will beclosed on Easter Sunday, meaning customers will need to plan their visits around this.

If you're planning to head to your local store, you’ll still be able to shop between7am and 8pmonFriday, 18 April, andMonday, 21 April, but doors will remain shut onSunday, 20 April.

Since opening times can vary depending on the branch, it’s worth checking ahead to confirm if your local B&Q has adjusted its hours for the Easter period.
