Gareth Malone, 49, is beloved for inspiring new talent across the country on shows like The Choir and all the spin-offs.

He has fronted dozens of shows for the publicly funded state broadcaster and appeared in programmes on and ITV.

He was previously involved in organising a choir of 150 festival-goers and he performed with them on the main stage in 2015.

The TV personality also appeared on the BBC 4 show, Loose Ends, which was recorded at Latitude on the BBC Introducing stage.

Now, Gareth has exclusively revealed to TV Mag that he's set to return to the annual arts festival at this year.

“I'm always, you know, I'm doing lots of performing, touring,” he explained.

“I'm really enjoying performing live where I'm doing latitude. This hasn't been announced.

Nice, yeah, doing latitude this year”.

He added: “So just kind of getting out there, just doing like being me, doing like being a musician, like practising the piano.”

Away from the gigs, we asked Gareth what his next TV project would be.

He told us that he doesn't have one he can reveal yet, but he is open to exploring more opportunities.

Gareth admitted: “I don't have one at the moment. So you can put that at the end, ‘Gareth is available for work.'

“I mean, there's always, you know, that's a lot. That's the great thing about my job. But also the weird thing there's, you finish one project.

“And I said, what's next? I'm hoping to do something similar to this next year.”
