‘Get our money back’ – Trump orders DOGE to retrieve $2.8bn from Politico, Stacey Abrams

US President Donald Trump has ordered Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency, DOGE, to get back $8,000,000 allegedly given to Politico magazine by ex-President Joe Biden's administration.

Trump also said that two billion dollars given to Stacey Abrams, which was funneled into her “environmental fund”; prior to his assuming office must be retrieved.

The President made this known on Thursday in a post on his Truth Social handle.

Trump said: “Whatever happened to the $8,000,000 given by our “government”; to Radical Left Politico magazine, or whatever you would call it. Owned by wealthy guys, this money should be taken back by DOGE, ASAP.

“Also, is Stacey Abrams going to give back the Two Billion Dollars they funneled into her “environmental fund”; just prior to my assuming office. She went from $100 in donations to $2,000,000,000 in just one day? Not bad!!! Get back the money.”

DAILY POST reported that the US Environmental Protection Agency, EPA, had disclosed that Biden's administration granted $2 billion to a climate group linked to high-profile Abrams.

EPA described it as a “scheme of wasteful” spending.
