God can fight for himself – Pastor Giwa cautions Christians abusing social media

The Senior Pastor of The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has cautioned Christians abusing the social media and trying to bring down the work of God.

Pastor Giwa said God can fight for himself, hence Christians must stop abusing social media.

He lamented that some Christians have taken to social media to post misleading information, unrealistic body images, abuse men of God, among others.

Addressing his members in Akure, Ondo State, yesterday, the clergyman warned that God would demand how Christians on social media used the platform at the right time.

According to Pastor Giwa: “Christians are increasingly engaging in problematic social media behaviors, including cyberbullying, sharing excessive misleading information, and unrealistic body images.

“Check, and you will see some of these social media abusers bear Christian names.

“They lie because of the money they get from all these platforms. Someone would be having a headache, they would post it, and say he is dead. God will ask you what you used your platform for.

“Some of these people go to church every Sunday, and they would come to their platforms to abuse men of God.

“Why do they concentrate more on trying to pull God's work down than to focus on politicians who are morgaging their future?

“They are wasting their time trying to bring the work of God down because God will still be God.

“Nobody can fight for God. He is capable of fighting for Himself. Please desist from posting ungodly images on your pages.”
